The San Mateo Medical Center is a 500-plus-bed hospital and clinic system that is accredited by The Joint Commission. The center operates an acute care hospital, as well as several outpatient clinics and long-term care facilities in San Mateo and Burlingame counties in California. Its Keller Center for Family Violence Intervention offers emergency medical treatment and forensic examination services. The San Mateo Medical Center provides a range of skilled nursing care and recreation therapy programs. The center also offers health education and wellness programs for the public. In addition, it manages a senior care center that serves the physical, mental and social needs of elderly people. The San Mateo Medical Center manages Coastside Clinic, Daly City Clinic and South San Francisco Clinic.
